You can not compare the Marshall DSL100 with the Boss KATANA 100 artist
One is a 100 watts tube amp at his best generation speaking
the other is the same step as once we came in to the SSL automation mixer desk long long time ago
The 2 have huge volume power and checking the electronic board inside i trust Boss will last longer but
really is that matter ?? I am used to buy stuff and i am a shopper lover
I needed the 2 amp because my head feels where my sound is made using tubes and on the other hand
Boss call me in with a switch for a sound I have made 3 weeks ago ! It s a dream no less !!!
My basic mod on most all my guitars
A vintage huge cap 0.47 Uf 400volt the reverse board and a switch change for better
contact or i would say faster and so not time for click noise
Its like this ! noticed the saddles with brass roller ! you would think hell what for ?? well
with the roller the bending expression goes further than the saddle stop ! this means you in
fact play with a longer string and the brass roller twang my Telecaster like a vintage does.
The KATANA Artist 100 and the tablet
I admitted it was not easy ! To modify and program my sound from my bed with no USB
cable that bothers me
So now I take my tablet away from my amp
Inject a guitar sound sample in the KATANA in loop and make sound programming from
my bed ! Dream and again we r in a dream age and i understand everything how things
work only because I am 70 years old and I learned slow ! joke
Before the tablet I used to program the Boss Katana with a connected great mini
laptop eeePC I have a couple of those and it work with almost everything on LINUX or
Windows
